I have just fitted the new battery pack to my TomTom Go 730. I’m recharging it as I write this.
Your instructions and packaging are excellent and I would (and will) recommend you to my friends and family.
Regards
Emile

The instructions were perfect. Don’t rush it. Take your time! The one part I thought was hilarious was "you might have to use a hair dryer…" to get the old battery out. YOU WILL NEED A HAIR DRYER TO LOOSEN THE ADHESIVE!
Removing the old battery is the hardest part of the replacement process. You also need to wear an oven mit to make sure that little plastic tool end doesn't cut your hand.
The other part I thought was funny was the adhesive pad that came with the battery was really small compared to the one used in the video.
I'd rather have a small adhesive anyway, a huge one may be as difficult as the original battery to pry off.
I've just finished charging it, and it’s holding at 100%. Better than when I originally bought the GPS.
This is the best way to go!
I would definitely buy another battery from newpower99 either for my TomTom or my cell phone.

My Go 730 stopped functioning altogether because the five-year-old battery was shot. Using the tools and video I was able to get it working again in 5 minutes.
I feared it might be overkill to splurge on the kit with special tools, but they really were necessary. If I had ordered only the battery and tried to swap it with household tools, I certainly would have mangled the case -- and probably damaged the motherboard as well.
