5 of 5 My keyboard is like-new again... after 10 years. April 6, 2015
Reviewer: Daniel M from Knoxville, TN United States
I ordered this kit when my keyboard died after ten years of use.

I was disappointed that nothing else comparable had hit the market since then.  A replacement would cost in upwards of $500 and I couldn't justify that kind of expense.

I find your site... order a replacement battery.  You guys sent me a DVD too that walked me through it in real time.  I dismantled the keyboard... swapped the battery, and put it all back together.  My only advice is to be careful as you're trying to pry the tabs near the power switch.  I bent the guide-tabs near the switch which made it not want to work when I snapped it back together.  I fixed this by snapping off the orange tab that slides into the window so as to indicate that the keyboard was "ON"... I figured I didn't need this as it lights up in all and lets out a pleasant beep to indicate it's got power.  It's now running perfectly.

I hope to go another ten years on this same keyboard.  You guys do a bang-up job.  Thanks.
