I ordered this online since I could no longer afford to buy a new Tungsten E unit. It arrived in just a week thru International EMS.
After viewing the video installation instruction online (NewPower99 did not send me the instructional video CD), I was able to install it by soldering. It is important that before installing the replacement battery, I had to first Hotsync the Tungsten E to backup files.
After installation, I pushed the soft reset button to restart the Tungsten E. All the files were erased, but I was able to restore the data files thru Hotsync. Before the Hotsync, I changed the Hotsync backup custom to: "Desktop overwrites the Handheld".
Compared before when the battery of my old Tungsten E lasted for about less than 10 minutes, now it lasts for days. Thanks for this affordable product, the life of my Tungsten E is extended.
